Test and Tag

We all understand how important it is to keep your electrical appliances in a safe working order. We all want our colleagues, our friends and family to be safe and secure when handling any of our electrical items. But how do we prove safety?

Testing and tagging services both show that the appliance/ item has been thoroughly vetted and checked, and tagged as approved – meaning it is safe to use.

At Northern Lights Lighting and Electrical, we use the Seaward Primetest 300 system. This not only tests the appliance in question but also produces a tag to identify that the appliance has been tested and approved as safe. This system also creates a database of electrical appliances held by the customer, related serial codes and dates of prior and future testing requirements so that your future safety requirements are also identified at that time.

This information, which is provided to our customers, can be stored and used as a log or inventory of the electrical equipment held and therefore also adds value to our client’s financial account production as they are better prepared for identification of owned assets and more able to accurately judge the asset value while also ensuring that their equipment is correctly working and safe to use.
